The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) are both internationally recognised curriculum, offering students entry into universities and colleges anywhere in the world.
The CBSE offers a high and challenging standard of education that provides a unique educational platform to students over a wide spectrum of ability.
The IGCSE curriculum is used in over 150 countries across the world. It sets widely recognised education standards, supports modern curriculum development and promotes international understanding.
The medium of instruction for both curriculum is English; special emphasis is placed on the development of communication skills in English at all levels and non-native learners have access to specialist teaching. In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education, Islamiat is taught in Arabic to Arab nationals and in English to other students.
Assessment and Evaluation
The progress of each student is monitored through a strategy of consistent and continuous assessment for academics and extra-curricular activities. Parents receive reports three times a year and certificates of commendation are awarded to students for excellence in each term.
